Berzhang Karimi
Berzhang is completing her second year at St. Mary’s University and joined Ergen and Sharif in February 2010 as a paralegal working under the direct supervision of the Directors.
Berzhang carries out many administrative duties within the Company. She has also attended Court to observe hearings and to assist counsel. Berzhang has a keen interest in the area of law and running her own firm one day. She hopes to gain more experience in the industry and is currently deciding whether to study the LPC or BPTC.
Cihan Aciyan
Cihan is studying his second year of law at Hertfordshire University. He joined Ergen and Sharif in September 2009 as a paralegal working under the direct supervision of the Directors. Cihan carries out many administrative duties within the Company. He has also attended Court to observe hearings and has shadowed the Directors in their meetings with clients. Cihan has a keen interest in the area of business immigration and hopes to gain further experience in this field.
Chelsey Williecarr
Chelsey joined Ergen & Sharif in April 2010 in order to gain more of an insight into paralegal work. Her roles within the company include many administrative duties as well as shadowing meetings with clients and lodging bundles to courts. She has a great interest in all cases and is always willling to learn more.
In the future Chelsey hopes to become a qualified paralegal or work as an Immigration case worker.
Her bubbly personality and constant smile are an asset to the office enviroment.
Nihan Uslu
Nihan is a qualified lawyer in Turkey and holds a first class degree from Istanbul University. She recently completed a Masters in International Law at Brunel University, London. In October 2009 she started her work placements with Ergen & Sharif until January 2010 and assisted the directors in drafting letters, legal research, file management as well as administrative and clerical work. She is an active member of European Law Students Association (ELSA).
Nicola Wileman
Nicola is in her second year at St Mary’s University currently studying for a degree in Geography and Tourism. She joined Ergen and Sharif in January 2011 to gain more of an insight into immigration.
Nicola carries out many administrative roles within the company and particularly enjoys carrying out research to aid clients. She has a keen interest in immigration control and hopes to one day go into an immigration official role within an airport.

Jack Martin
Jack Martin has just concluded his first year of BA History at Queen Mary University. He joined the company in June 2010 for four weeks to gain an insight into immigration law. While working for the company he assisted directors in legal research, clerical and administrative tasks and attended tribunals to hear the outcome of cases. He is interested in undertaking a GDL after his completion of BA History with the hope of becoming either a solicitor or barrister.
Ruken Sahin
Ruken is a first year law student currently studying at Brunel University. She joined the firm in April 2010 in order to gain some experience in the field of immigration law and paralegal work itself. She undergoes a variety of administrative duties such as writing perusals, answering phone calls and shadowing clients in meetings. Ruken is hoping to pursue a career as a solicitor in the future either in immigration or intellectual property. Whatever path Ruken chooses, she hopes to bring positive changes to the lives of others.
Rozy Hussain
Rozy is a second year law student and joined the Company for six weeks during in 2009 to gain an insight into the UK Immigration Law.
Ruba Ameen
After completing her A-levels in French, English Literature, Mathematics and Chemistry, Ruba began her placement at Ergen & Sharif, helping in administrative legal work that ranged from writing perusals to preparing bundles for court hearings.
Her attendance at a hearing at an immigration tribunal on behalf of Ergen & Sharif further stimulated her keen interest in pursuing legal studies, and her overall experience has been excellent preparation for the Law (LLB) degree she will soon be commencing at King’s College London.
This exposure to Immigration Law in particular has raised Ruba’s awareness of the difficulty faced by immigrants in seeking refuge and stability, and has in turn had a personal impact as, from Iraqi origin, Ruba has witnessed close family members battle with the United Kingdom immigration system. In this way, Ruba hopes to use legal experiences such as those gained at Ergen & Sharif to help eliminate the fear and instability in the lives of many of her cultural peers.
Schiba Esmailpour
Tim Anastasis
Tim is a first year law student at the University of Exeter who began working at the firm in the New Year 2011. He undertakes administrative work for the directors such as perusing files, drafting letters and researching, which he hopes will put him in good stead for working in the legal profession after university.
Tim hopes to attend court hearings and immerse himself even more into the work to further deepen his experience and understanding of immigration law and legal process.

Taybah Dhoia
Taybah is studying her second year of the LLB at The University of Westminster. She joined the Company in mid November 2009 and works every Monday. She speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi. She performs various roles within the Company including writing letters to the Home Office, Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and clients. She is particularly interested in the field of nationality and asylum law. In her spare time she enjoys attending hearings by going to the public gallery at the Magistrates Court and also enjoys watching documentaries.
Trish Bhattarai

My name is Trish Bhattarai and I am a law graduate from University of Hull. I have completed my Legal Practice Course. I joined Ergen and Sharif in February 2011. I have previously had exposure to different areas of law such as criminal, employment, negligence and property. Having had experience in an Immigration practice, I would like to work as a legal adviser in this field.

I have a passion in working in Immigration law because I like to learn about different cultures and find it rewarding to help those who are less fortunate.

I am also multi lingual and can speak English, Nepalese, Hindi and Spanish. I enjoy working at Ergen and Sharif because of its friendly atmosphere and work ethics.

Zeid Alzoubaidi
Zeid has just recently finished his first year of LLB Law at BPP Law School. In order to gain some insight of the life of Immigration Law, he joined the firm, Ergen & Sharif, in July 2010. Zeid has been very enthusiastic about the work involved within the firm and has shown great interest in the life of an immigration lawyer and the paralegal work with which he got involved in directly.
Zeid wishes to become a competent solicitor and to help others who have been wronged in life.
